01The problem
Lawyers do not need an AI that sounds sure. They need one that can show where the answer comes from. General-purpose chatbots answer confidently, cite articles that do not exist and mix old versions of a law with the current one.
In legal work, an unsourced answer is not a shortcut. It is a liability.
02What we built
Jurivo is a legal workspace for Romanian law with three parts: research, case files and drafting. Questions are asked in plain Romanian, without article numbers. Jurivo finds the relevant provisions first, then writes the answer from them, and every citation opens the official text.
When the sources do not support an answer, Jurivo says so instead of improvising. That rule is the product.
03How it works
Answers draw on primary legislation published on legislatie.just.ro and on relevant decisions of the High Court and the Constitutional Court, re-ingested on a schedule so the consolidated text stays current. When an act cited in one of your cases changes, you get an email digest.
Case files keep documents and questions together, scanned PDFs included. Risks are tied to the exact clause, page and article. Drafting produces real Word files with tracked changes, so every edit is reviewed before it is accepted. Firms share cases with chosen colleagues; private cases stay private, even from admins.
04Measured, not claimed
“Grounded in law” cannot be a slogan. We run a fixed set of questions with known answers against the production retrieval path and publish the results, the method and what the numbers do not guarantee.
Documents delivered to a client carry an explicit AI-assistance notice, in line with Article 50 of the EU AI Act.
